BPA – Exchange rates

Business Process Automation(BPA) – Exchange rates.

I helped one of my clients with their Exchange rate needs.
We have build a process that connects daily to an API on the internet and collects all the current rates and stores them in a local database table. From there we push the needed rates towards ERP system Exact Globe and to this every morning.
That means thatches client now is able to start their workday with 24 fresh rates. The rates are not older then 1 day and refreshed on a daily basis.
Before this process was started, this client searched for their 24 rates every month and manually added this to their Exact Globe administration.
You can imagine the time they save and the impact of the fresher rates they will have.
