Recently I created an Orbis task that was triggered by an approval, in the clients ERP system, of a purchase order for a certain supplier. When the task starts running it collects the order lines of the purchase order and passes it to a CSV document and stores this file to a local folder for later use.
The next step was to create a PDF document and place all the order lines on it. The fun part in this, is that you can add a fancy background to this PDF and make it possible to have a recognizable company document that reflects the company.
Both are attached to an email and send to the supplier. They receive a CSV file that they can use on their side to automate their proces of creating the order in their systems.
The PDF document can be used as a readable document regarding the purchase.
